MAW Toys is a label of BAE Editions. This notice covers mawtoys.com, which right now does one thing: it takes an email address so we can tell you when we open.
Who holds it
The data controller is the company trading as BAE Editions. The registered name, company number and registered office are being confirmed and will be published here before MAW Toys sells anything.
What we take
- Your email address. That is the whole point of the form.
- A timestamp, plus the country and network the request came from, read off the connection. Used to throttle abuse of the form and nothing else.
No cookies. No analytics script. No third party pixels. Nothing is stored in your browser.
Why we are allowed to
Consent, under Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR. You typed it in and pressed a button asking to be told about a launch. That is the whole basis, and it ends the moment you withdraw it.
What you will get
One email when we open, and the odd word afterwards when something good lands. Never a list anyone else has bought, and every message carries a one click unsubscribe.
How long
Until you unsubscribe, or two years with no launch, whichever comes first. Then the row is deleted.
Who else sees it
The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes the request and stores the address on our behalf. Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or share the list.
Your rights
Ask for a copy, a correction or deletion, or object to us holding it at all. Reply to any email from us, or use the BAE Editions enquiry form. We answer inside a month. Not satisfied, complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Age
MAW Toys is for adults. The list is not for anyone under eighteen and we do not knowingly hold information about children.
