Choosing a lube

Water-based lube is safe with every toy material and every condom, washes off easily and is the best all-rounder. Silicone-based lube lasts much longer and is great in water, but it can damage silicone toys, so keep it for glass, metal and hard plastic toys or toy-free play.

Lube for anal

Anal lubes are thicker and longer-lasting, because the body does not produce its own lubrication there. Avoid numbing lubes, as discomfort is a useful signal to slow down.
