What a toy is made of matters more than how it looks. Every product page lists its material, and you can filter by it on any collection.
Silicone
Non-porous, so it cleans properly and does not harbour bacteria. Warms to body temperature, lasts for years and is the material we recommend most. Look for the Silicone tag. Use water-based lube with silicone toys.
Glass and metal
Non-porous and very easy to clean. Glass and stainless steel can be warmed or cooled for temperature play. Heavier and firmer than silicone.
TPE, TPR and "real feel" materials
Soft and skin-like, which is why they are used for realistic toys and strokers. They are porous, so clean them thoroughly, dry them fully and keep them for your own use rather than sharing. They wear over time.
PVC and jelly
Inexpensive and flexible, but porous and harder to keep clean. Use a condom over them for easier cleaning and replace them when they start to degrade.
Leather and faux leather
For restraints and fetish gear rather than insertable use. Wipe clean and treat leather with a leather conditioner.
Phthalates
