Start smaller than you think
The most common first-time mistake is buying too big. For anything insertable, pick something slim with a gentle taper and build up from there. Our Beginner friendly collection is a good place to begin.
Anal play needs a flared base
Anything used anally must have a flared or wide base so it cannot travel further in. Every butt plug and anal toy we sell has one. Do not improvise with anything that does not.
Lube is not optional
Use plenty, and reapply. Water-based lube works with every toy material. Silicone-based lube lasts longer but can damage silicone toys, so keep it for glass, metal and hard plastic, or for play without toys. See water-based lube.
Go slowly and listen to your body
Relax, breathe, and never force anything. Discomfort is a signal to slow down or stop. Pain is a signal to stop.
Keep it clean
Wash toys before first use and after every use. Our care guide covers how.
